On the 13th of February 2008, the Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, tabled a motion in parliament apoligising to Australia’s indigenous peoples, particularly the stolen generations.
The stolen generations are the generations of aboriginal children who were taken away from their families by the government.
At our school we watched Kevin Rudd apoligise to the stolen generations and listened to Noel Toby speak about his experiences as a child.
