Swimming Carnival Harmony Day Sorry Day

130th Anniversary
29th May 2008

In 1878 Rozelle Public School was opened. 130 years later in our present time our assembly recognised the school’s 130 birthdays.

This was a big thing for Rozelle. Dr Phillip Lambert was there to recognise this achievement for Rozelle. His speech inspired our school and Mrs Lyn Doppler our principal.

Gunya class performed a presentation about the school’s history. A particularly funny slide show was presented as well.

The school played the games that would have been played in that time such as marbles, pick up sticks and hop scotch. We enjoyed all of it.
