Public School Parents and Citizens' Association:
Purpose
Parents, as partners
in the education process, have a right and a responsibility to play
an active role in the education of their children. The P&C enables
parents and citizens to meet together to determine the needs and aspirations
of the school community.
Activities
P&C, meetings
provide a forum for parents to learn about the activities at the school,
raise concerns and have input into the decisions affecting their children.
Through parent volunteers, the P&C runs the uniform shop. The P&C
also raises funds for projects as diverse as the school band to landscaping
of the school grounds.
Meetings
The P&C meets
in the Staffroom at 7.30pm on the third Wednesday of every month except
during school holidays. All parents and community members are welcome
to attend.
