Term 1 Topic: Australian Identity-
Stage 3 has been investigating what it is to be ‘Australian’ and where we get our national identity from. All of Aquila have researched and presented biographies on some of our nations most significant men and women.

Activities:

Blogging- Aquila is in the process of creating our very own blog to showcase our awesome
research on significant Australians. Keep watching this space for the launch of our blog.

Tennis- Do we have the next Lleyton Hewitt or Pat Rafter in our class? Time will only tell on that
one but we’ve sure had fun practising in the meantime. 

Flight- What keeps a plane up in the air? What is lift? Who was Bernoulli? These are the
questions Aquila have been investigating this term.
