Umbriel:
Ms. Patti Ireland - Kingergarten (Early Stage 1)

This term Umbriel has been settling into our school routines, learning about our school environment, how to make friends and care for others.
We have chosen our senate representatives for our school government.
Umbriel has been writing in our journals every day, enjoying Ants in the apple and learning to read using big books. We are looking forward to starting reading groups soon.
In Maths we have been learning about graphs and data, understanding measurement, and investigating numbers to 20.
We have celebrated Harmony Day with our grandparents, enjoyed a teddy bear week, experienced a camping incursion and performed songs in a kindergarten assembly.
Umbriel is currently investigating Water beginning with the water cycle.

We enjoy painting and craft and particularly love singing and dancing with the other kindergarten classes.
