Enjoying special events such as:

The Teddy Bear’s Picnic
Harmony Day and Seniors Week
Kindergarten Assembly featuring the rap, Just Gimme the beat, the songs Can’t roller-skate
in a Buffalo Herd and Mr Banck’s favourite, Louise.
Camp Day at Kinder Island

Participating in many fun activities. For example:

Gym with Jay and Lindsay. We loved the trampoline, the “motorbike” and the “bunny hop”!
Sports with all the kindergarten classes in an activities circuit
Learning lots of new songs and singing with all of Kindergarten on Monday afternoons.
Lunching with our buddies.

Learning about the following topics:

School Days, in HSIE, which helped us to settle into the routines of school and learn about the
different things we do at school. We have also learnt about our school philosophy and the role of
the HIP keys. We are forming friendships and looking after each other.
Water, in Science, and its properties, where it comes from and how we use it.
Mathematics, where we have enjoyed Count me in Too activities, and lots of measuring, pattern
making and data displays.
Literacy, including sharing circle, handwriting, journal writing, lots of reading and the sight word
challenge!
