Sagitarius: - The Archer
Miss. Rebecca Campisi - Kingergarten (Early Stage 1)

We are very busy people at Rozelle Public School. We fit so much learning into every week. Just some of our favourite activities are:

Kindy Singing – We get together on Monday afternoons to sing and dance with all the other
Kindy classes. Our favourite songs at the moment are “Louise” and “Mr. Clickety Kane”. We
even performed at our Kindy Assembly!

Kindy Sport – We are getting very good at running through our Kindy Commando Circuit on
Wednesday mornings. We are staying fit and healthy while having fun.

Computers – Every week we have been going to the computer lab. So far we have learnt how to
Log On, type our names, access the Internet and play with Kids Pix. We love creating crazy
digital art!

Every week we learn a new sound in Sagittarius. We even learn a song for each sound. This term we have learnt about a, s, m, t, i, f, d, r, o and g.

Most recently in Maths we are learning about measurement. You can see us in the photos measuring things with our hands. We love doing things with our hands!
We can use our hands for a lot of things in Maths. One of our favourite activities at school is playing Count Me In Too games.

In Science and Technology we are learning about Water. We know what the words Evaporation, Condensation and Precipitation mean, and they are very big words for Kindergarten people.

The same week the nig kids went off the Camp, we had a special camping day too. We had an awesome day! We built a tent in our classroom, went on a scavenger hunt, made pikelets for lunch and toasted marshmallows on the campfire. You can see what fun we had in the photos.

We’ve made an excellent start to life at school in Sagittarius.
We have learnt so much already!
